Medieval Ruffle Blouse

#MEDIEVALRUFFLEBLOUSE

The Medieval Ruffle Blous is a classic, moody blouse inspired by the silhouette of the late Medieval era. With it’s fitted body, open, square neckline and subtle puff shoulders it hints at a classic 1500s bodice.

The triangular mohair ruffle at the neckline and cuffs is inspired by tge European medieval court jester, his costume documented back to the 1400s.

It’s knit bottom up with raglan sleeves. The Mohair features are picked up and knit at the end.

The pattern PDF includes both the Norwegian and English pattern, and can be bought via Ravelry, Etsy and Knitapp.
