The Jr Hobbiton Vest is the unisex Jr version of the popular ladies Hobbiton Vest – a seed-stitch vest with a classic look. It’s inspired by both the beautiful vests of the 1940s, but most importantly the cozy velvet and wool vests worn by the hobbits of the Shire.
Perfect over a shirt or dress for dressing up your little one, or for chilly days.
The adult version is worked in Athena and a strand Mohair Silk, but I strongly dislike using Mohair for babies as it gets everywhere (eyes, nose, mouth..) and might be itchy, so this version is worked in only Athena.
However, if you know your child is ok with Mohair or you have an older child, a strand of Mohair will make the vest both warmer and pleasantly fussy! Note that this will change the gauge to 17/18 st(s) per 10 cm giving the vest more ease - adjust by working one size smaller.

Can I choose different shipping options?
Domestic parcels are shipped tracked with Bring, with a delivery time of 1 - 5 days. Parcels are shipped out as soon as possible, usually by the next working day.
For international parcels you can either choose tracked or untracked shipping. When shopping larger quantities of high value we recommend you choose tracked shipping. Delivery time varies on customs and the postal service in your country.

There's a problem with my order, can I return it?
If there's a problem with your order - ie. the yarn you received isn't what you ordered or it's faulty, please get in touch on fabelknitwear@gmail.com and we'd be happy to help!
I've changed my mind, can I return my yarn?
If you change your mind, you can return your yarn.
You have 14 days from receipt of your order to contact us on fabelknitwear@gmail.com and inform us that you'd like to return your order / part of your order.
Unless there is a fault with your order, the return postage is your responsibility - please obtain proof of postage.
Yarn must be returned in it's original condition - ie. not wound into a ball, or smelling of smoke.
Refunds are made when the item has been delivered.
Items from outside of Norway must be clearly marked with 'returned merchandise' on the customs form.
If your customs form is marked incorrectly, we are unable to pay customs charges for returned parcels and Posten will return your parcel to you.
Digital purchases: Knitting patterns are digital files and are thus not applicable to shipping. Digital items cannot be returned or refunded.
For international orders
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply to their country.
Fabel Knitwear is not responsible for delays due to customs.
